Course Information

This is the second stage in becoming a fully qualified therapist in advanced facial and skin care techniques. These individual units are a requirement for those students wanting a career in the beauty industry and provide the level of skills required by spas and salons when working with advanced skin care treatments. A level 3 qualification allows for further advancement within the beauty sector.

Whilst studying on this course Students will be provided clients to work on to complete their qualification.

Pre-requisite before attending this course – Level 2 diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques or equivalent

* Relevant Anatomy and Physiology
* Contra-indication / Contra-action / Client care
* Facial electrical treatments to include;
* Direct High Frequency
* Galvanic
* Electro muscle stimulator (EMS)
* Micro Current
* Lymphatic Drainage
* Micro-Dermabrasion
* Micro Lance (milia removal)

Student Progression: Holistic massage therapies, Advanced waxing, Threading.

Career Paths: Health Clubs, Health Spas, Working on Cruise Ships/ Aircraft, Salon owner, Mobile Beauty therapist, Beauty room working from home, Beauty Therapy Training

    I can’t recommend the school highly enough. I have just updated my electrical facial training after 31 years and was very impressed. Lisa was a great teacher and I’m going to miss my Thursdays at Isis.
