VTCT NVQ 3 Provide Facial Electrical Treatments
This is the second stage in becoming a fully qualified therapist in advanced facial and skin care techniques. These individual units are a requirement for those students wanting a career in the beauty industry or wanting to specialise in advanced skincare and facial aesthetics. They provide the level of skills required by spas and salons when working with advanced skin care treatments. A level 3 qualification allows for further advancement within the beauty sector.
Whilst studying on this course students will work on each other to practice their skills. They will then be invited to attend two assessment sessions following immediately on from the course (i.e. the next two consecutive Thursdays or Saturdays).
Pre-requisite before attending this course – Level 2 Certificate in Facials and Skincare / Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent
* Hygiene, Health and Safety
* Relevant Anatomy and Physiology
* Contra-indication / Contra-action / Client care
* Facial electrical treatments to include;
* Direct High Frequency
* Electro muscle stimulator (EMS)
* Micro Current
* Lymphatic Drainage
* Micro Lance (milia removal)
Student Progression: Holistic massage therapies, Advanced waxing, Threading.
